Looking to join the SNG #iwill Youth Network?
The SNG #iwill Youth Network
Alongside the SNG #iwill Fund we have the SNG #iwill Youth Network, which is for any organisation interested in youth social action to make connections, share best practice and come away with new skills and ideas.
We’ve partnered with The Foyer Federation to lead the Network, which will feature:
- Quarterly Network meetings, each following a variety of key themes relating to youth social action and activities or discussions.
- Quarterly e-newsletters with updates from SNG and throughout the network, good news stories and any resources or learnings.
The Foyer Federation will also host Innovation Labs for our SNG #iwill Fund 2.0 grant holders, which will focus on key topics they have asked for support with. Innovation Labs are designed to allow partners to learn best practice, co-create solutions together and learn from each other’s experiences.
Further information about the #iwill Youth Network
Any organisation with an interest in youth social action can join the network, even if they don’t receive a grant through the SNG #iwill Fund, to make connections, share best practice and come away with new skills and ideas.
The Foyer Federation will source guests and sector experts to speak at Network sessions, and there will be plenty of opportunity to connect with local organisations and look at working in partnership to learn from each other.
We will issue a quarterly e-newsletter with updates from us and Network members, good news stories and any resources or learnings. We are also looking to create a centralised cloud space to hold and share resources or learnings in one place.
As part of the network, we hold quarterly network meetings, and offer training sessions as needs are identified.
Our first Network meeting will take place virtually via Zoom, on Thursday 16 May from 10:30am to 12:30pm and will focus on Working Effectively with Young People.
You can sign up to the SNG #iwill Youth Network by filling in our form. When signing up, you will need to agree to our Terms of Reference [pdf, 96KB] .
