We recognise the value in investing in our people in the early stages of their careers. We recruit Apprentices and Trainees across the organisation – for roles in our Customer Service, Business Support, Housing, Property Management and Trades teams.

Depending on the qualification you’re working towards, your apprenticeship could last anywhere between one and four years.
In that time, you’ll get:
- Bags of on-the-job learning
- Practical experience
- Training opportunities
- Support to develop your skills while you earn
- A recognised qualification, ranging from Level 2 to Level 7 (which is equivalent to a University Degree).
Some apprenticeships may require a minimum of GCSE qualification, but you don’t need any experience in your chosen field.

You’ll be with us for two years and in that time, you'll get:

How to apply
When you apply, we’ll guide you through every step and you’ll have the option to review and amend your application before you submit it.
The process starts with our application form where we will ask you about yourself and give you the opportunity to tell us why an apprenticeship at Sovereign is right for you. We use written and video questions so you can give us the answers in your own way.
The second stage is our Assessment Centre where you will be taking part in a group exercise, interviewing with our hiring managers and completing a practical exercise. You’ll also have a chance to talk to the team and get a better idea about what being an apprentice at Sovereign is all about.
We’ll give you a Candidate Guide before each stage, detailing the application process and the questions or topics we would like you to prepare for.
