Brooklands Park lies just off the A4174 Filton Road, close to the M32, M4 and M5. Bristol Parkway train station is less than a mile from the development. It’s close to Harry Stoke, Stoke Gifford, Filton, Frenchay and Lockleaze which means you can make use of existing local amenities.
Local Community
Stoke Gifford has a thriving community with regular events and activities including youth clubs, sports clubs and support groups.

Shopping
There are two retail parks around half a mile from the site, just off the A4174 towards Filton; the Stoke Gifford District Centre and the Abbey Wood Shopping Park. They include supermarkets, restaurants and a range of other shops and amenities.
The Mall at Cribbs Causeway is just over 3 miles from the development and Cabot Circus is around 5 miles away – both offer a good range of high street shops, restaurants and leisure facilities.
Transport
As well as good road links the site also benefits from good public transport and is on the new metrobus route. The nearest bus stop is on the new dual carriageway, the Stoke Gifford Bypass – just turn right out of the site. M1 buses run regularly to the City Centre & Broadmead, Cribbs Causeway, Aztec West, UWE and Hengrove. The number 19 bus service between Bath and Cribbs Causeway also stops outside the development.
It’s about a 15 minute walk to Bristol Parkway Station for trains to Bristol or London Paddington.
Education
There are several primary schools in the area; St Michaels Primary is close by and rated good by Ofsted. Other options include Filton Hill Primary, Shield Road Primary and Hambrook Primary School.
For older pupils, Abbeywood Community School is less than a mile from the development and was rated Good at their last Ofsted inspection.
