Whether it’s your first day, first week or first year in your rented Sovereign home, it can take a little time to realise that we offer much more than just a great place to live.
Here you’ll find a handy summary of all the key services you would expect from us – and many you wouldn’t, like free training and support to get into work or better work.
We also have teams on hand to help with accessing benefits who can tailor their advice based on your individual circumstances. We can also help with advice on money and budgeting and debt.
Then there are all the ways you can get involved in your community, with initiatives and grants to make them even better places to live.
Everything in the right place
Please do take a moment to make sure you’ve got everything in place at the start of your tenancy – and remember that rent is due in advance. Most customers set up a direct debit with us because it’s the quickest and easiest way to pay. Once it’s done you don’t have to think about it again. Just print off the form [docx, 159KB] , fill it in then take a picture and email it back to us at contact@sovereign.org.uk. If you don’t have a printer, call us and we’ll send the form in the post.
Alternatively, you can pay through MySovereign.org.uk – the online home for managing your home. You can use it to check your rent balance, raise a repair request or even let us know you’d like to keep a pet. There’s also the advice and guidance, as well as ‘how to’ films for things you can quickly sort yourself.
Setting up a MySovereign account takes about a minute and means you don’t have to wait for the contact centre to open – you’ll have everything you need at your fingertips at any hour, every day of the year.
We know there’s lots to take in while you’re busy getting settled but if you’d like to talk about any of our services, please call us on 0300 5000 926.
We’ve also got plenty of information for shared owners, leaseholders and market renters too.
