While the Board is responsible for the effective governance of the business, day to day management is delegated to the Executive Board members.
The Executive Board, led by Chief Executive Officer Mark Washer, work to deliver the strategy, oversee and improve performance while protecting and growing our organisation.
Mark is the inaugural Chief Executive Officer of SNG.
Prior to his appointment he was the CEO at Sovereign from 2018 until the merger with Network Homes in 2023. With extensive experience in the housing sector, he has been Chief Financial Officer at Clarion Housing Group and has been Vice Chair of the National Housing Federation (NHF).
Mark is a trustee of Leadership 2025, a charity developing BME leadership in the housing sector.
Helen is our Deputy Chief Executive Officer and is leading on the integration of the former operations of Network Homes and Sovereign.
Prior to her appointment she was the CEO of Network Homes from 2011 until 2023 having joined the organisation in 2010. Prior to this she was CEO of Brent Housing Partnership (BHP), Brent Council’s former housing management company.
She served as Chair of the G15 group of London’s leading housing associations between 2019 and 2021.
David is our Executive Director for Development for London and Hertfordshire, and he leads on our development operations in this region.
Prior to his appointment at SNG he was Executive Director of Development at Network Homes having joined the organisation as Commercial Director in 2014.
He has nearly 30 years’ experience in the housing sector.
Gerry is our Executive Director for Operations in London and Hertfordshire, and he leads our housing management services in this region.
Prior to his appointment at SNG he was Executive Director of Customer Services at Network Homes having joined the organisation in March 2014.
He has over two decades of housing experience, including as CEO Brent Housing Partnership (BHP), Brent Council’s former housing management company.
Kirsten is our Group General Counsel and joins us from global banking giant JP Morgan, where she held senior roles over more than ten years, most recently leading the global legal team supporting the Payments business within its Corporate & Investment Bank.
Prior to JP Morgan, she also headed legal teams at Barclays Bank, and was an associate at global law firm, DLA Piper.
Jamie is our Chief Communities and Sustainability Officer.
Prior to his appointment at SNG Jamie was Executive Director of People, Partnerships and Sustainability at Network Homes which he joined in 2019. He has been Assistant Director of Housing at the GLA and has worked for Homes England’s predecessor organisation the Homes and Communities Agency.
He is a passionate advocate for social housing and community organising.
Kevin is our Chief Information Officer.
Prior to his appointment a SNG Kevin held the role of Chief Information Officer at Sovereign where he joined the organisation in 2019 joining from Arriva Trains.
He has significant experience in delivering transformational change through technology, he’s held several senior roles in IT, working across the water, construction and transport sectors.
Nicole is our Chief Customer Officer and she leads all customer facing services in Southern and Southwest England.
Prior to her appointment at SNG Nicole was Chief Customer Officer at Sovereign which she joined in 1998 and has led a range of operational and customer-service teams and major projects across property, housing and landlord services.
She brings extensive experience of the social housing sector and a passion for developing a forward-thinking customer/resident-centric culture.
Peter is our Chief Financial Officer.
Prior to his appointment at SNG Peter was Executive Director of Finance at Network Homes which he joined in 2019. Overall, he has nearly two decades worth of senior finance experience in housing, advertising and retail, both public and private.
He has a strong, diverse approach to analysis, financial planning and value addition.
Sally is our Chief People and Transformation Officer.
Prior to her appointment at SNG she was Chief People and Transformation Officer at Sovereign where she joined in 2021. Previous roles have been at Dixons Carphone, Ask Restaurants and 20 years at Marks and Spencer.
Overall, she has over 30 years of HR experience.
Tom is our Chief Investment and Development Officer, and his role covers developments in Southern and Southwest England.
Prior to his appointment at SNG Tom was Chief Investment and Development Officer at Sovereign which he joined in 2019. Tom has had roles at Catalyst Housing Network Housing Group and Hyde Group.
He brings a wealth of housing experience in delivering new homes on large-scale developments, building private and public sector partnerships and creating sustainable places.
